Thank you! I'll reply here for your other comments :)
I plan to expand on the existing systems, but I don't know what I'll add yet. I'd love to add power management and explore what could be done. A way to smooth out landings too could be nice. Either landing gears like you said or wheels could be interesting.
I'd love to know more about what you mean by better cable management. Is there something specific you found annoying/frustrating?
I've played for a long time and I love that docking was added can you add auto pilot and more planets please Ive explored all of them and a new one would be cool 😀
Our Discord server has a channel for people looking to play together if you're interested. It's usually pretty quiet, but you might find people there to play with :) https://discord.gg/adA8nqqJ49
Thanks for the suggestion :) btw, you can enable the precision mode with R in the advanced controls. This makes fine tuning movements easier (kinda like RCS)
Nice game, a bit empty at the moment but the "spaceship-building game" is definetly here. Needs a sprint feature and portable oxygen tanks tho, out of space exploration feels like holding your breath and not be bothered about it.
PS: the low poly style takes nothing out of the experience, looks great, feels great.
This is a great game but if it's not much to ask a recommendation from me is to add different tiers of thrusters so then when you make big ships you don't need to add lots of thrusters and also the automation of collecting resources. Also keep up the work because this is an amazing game also, I love how you actually add the suggestions that people recommend like the fuel tank!
Loving the game. Defenitely need a sprint or maybe character addons. However, I think a more interesting addon would be a fuel tank with a similar system to the cables that lets you store lots of fuel and share between multiple engines as well as a way to hide cables. Still a brilliant game and hoping to see where it goes
Great game! (i will admit i haven't played it since 0.5.0 released, but i will still suggest some things i think would be cool) but i have a few suggestions. i think wheels and an engine to make a ground vehicle to easily get to resources would be a great late-game or early-game tool. adding onto that, custom doors so you can make a small "hanger" on your ship to store your vehicle. and locking pads so it doesn't move around and glitch out into the middle of space. of course you don't have to do any of this it's just a thought
I’ve only played this game for a few hours but it’s so fun and I really hope it continues to get worked on and have more stuff. Super duper fun:)
edit: I’m gonna leave some suggestions :)
Needs a sprint lol
Should have a thing where the build tool just builds normal buildings until you add a steering controls so people can just make lil bases.(maybe when it’s a base and not a ship the build pieces snap level so they aren’t leaning on hills and stuff)
Maybe add like laser thing for ships so you can collect recourses from inside the ship off like asteroids :o
Maybe some like danger of some kind? Or maybe not it could just be chill idk.
Oh and round build pieces would be cool
Space dogfights with friends B)
More abundant recourses
And more flora
Kinda awesome how without all this stuff the game is still super good
Thank you for your comments and suggestions! There's this one suggestion I'm wondering about though:

I'm not sure what you mean by that. Like a way to build a base that is snapped to the terrain? (maybe an example from another game could help me get it)
Again, thanks for your comment and I'm glad you had fun :)
Hey! Ya so a great example would be Valhiem, the building you have is actually already pretty similar to it, only difference is in Valhiem the build pieces can sort of go under terrain. :)
And again, the game is awesome and I am showing it to all my buds:)
Hi, my friend and I just discovered the game and it's great! We played the game so much that I dreamt about it, and in my dream there was Otrera A, who was purple. We had a lot of fun and agreed on things to improve. Like adding a sprint, a respawn bed, a flashlight/torche for the ship and other decorative items. Thank you very much for making this game, and I look forward to an update!
Hey, me and my friend had so much fun together (he's commenting too). We just thought we would need a sprint feature because we're pretty slow on the ground, and maybe something to have better control over the ship in space, like those tiny things that use air or something that allows us to do slow maneuvers or rotate the ship.
I cdan't wait to see the future of the game that has so much potential
hey i know i commented on this game already, but I'm experiencing a bug where I can't see any of the metal parts I placed. This is not the bug where you cant see the ground or environment, its different
is there a known way to fix because I spent a lot of effort building a huge ship and I can't find any backup saves or anything anywhere
Yeah, it's a bug in the current version where large ships will disappear when there are too many tiles. There's a fix coming in the next update. Your ship will be fine :)
game is great, i have a lot of fun making colossal spaceships
I would suggest adding tools for making bigger ships, like some kind of drag out to place or scale tool. other than that, no complaints very good game 👍
Thank you for the suggestion! In the meantime you can use a kind of sandbox mode. Simply enable the dev tools in the options menu and press F1 for fly mode or F2 for free resources.
Hi, I made this account specifically to leave this comment, this game is amazing! I was kind of bored and found a game called stellardrive, and i thought it would be good for an hour to play. Little did i know, i was about to end up playing it for 5 hours in one session! Absolutely brilliant game, a few requests though; Logic gates and a way to better organize wires, higher spawn rates for resources, and decorations like lights and paint.
I got further, made a nice ship and visited all the planets, nevermind the request for more common resources, i realized some planets have different concentrations; (SPOILERS: Moon planet has lots of iron and fuel, desert has aluminum, habitable planet has SO MUCH FUEL.)
Only thing i would like is logic and wiring organizers and more research. Absolutely phenomenal.
I do use the splitter as a wire organizer, i more meant something like barotraumas wiring system, e.g: click wall with the wire to place a splitter or some sort of wire holder.
what di i do if the ground is see through, i played a little bit on another world with the ground like this and was like "nah i cant do this anymore how do i know where im going" it may help to know im using a dell laptop ik not the fastest thing but is there a way i can fix this?
looks incredibly good! Game so much fun, its current simplicity allows to easily get used to the mechanics, even for friends who are unfamiliar to such games.

I just put a extra 1 block space under my ships rn
more logic?

this is rad!
Thank you! I'll reply here for your other comments :)

I've been having a problem whare when I open the game, and I can't see my mouse and I don't know how to fix it.
You can try switching between fullscreen mode and windowed mode in the options menu (though it might be difficult without a cursor).
i've done that it still wont work
This Is Amazing
this is beautiful man. thank you <3
do you have any tutorials on jetpacks. sorry i keep asking.
Sorry, I don't have anything specific for jetpacks. Good luck with your game!
can you recommend any unity tutorials
Sebastian Lague has good videos on Unity projects. You can check out his planet generation series at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QN39W020LqU&list=PLFt_AvWsXl0cONs3T0By4puYy6GM22ko8. You get to create procedural planets, and the end result is pretty fun I think.
You can also go to the Catlike Coding blog for more advanced stuff: https://catlikecoding.com/unity/tutorials/.
I love sebastian Lague!
I've played for a long time and I love that docking was added can you add auto pilot and more planets please Ive explored all of them and a new one would be cool 😀
Thanks! I plan to add more planets at some point for sure.
none of my friends are interested in space so i cant play with them in this game :(

i think you should add RCS to go with docking
Thanks for the suggestion :) btw, you can enable the precision mode with R in the advanced controls. This makes fine tuning movements easier (kinda like RCS)

Thank you for the feedback!
This is such a cool game. but how did you code the omni directional jetpack in space
Thank you! The jetpack is a force that gets applied depending on the wasd keys
docking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
im currently playing the game and i have a question, where are the other planets? please help
You can check the nearby planets using the star map or the targeting computer. Selecting a planet will show you where it is in your HUD.
You can use the Stellar Drive afterward to warp there.
3.333333c game rounds to 3.34
can you please add a way to explode ships
and I love your game ive been playing since the multiplayer update
anybody having multiplayer issuses cause i am
every time i try to join or host a game it just gets stuck on the loading screen my friend can host and join but i cant can i get some help?
You can try running the game as an administrator when that happens. I remember seeing someone with the same issue and that was the fix.
Check if your on the same update
please fix the laptop issue, the game looks really fun but i cant play it.
amazing game
Better than starfield
Good game
i agree one billion percent
I wonder what's going to be in the next big update.
I'm currently working on docking and tools to approach ships that are in orbit. I might include some other stuff too :)
cool
:-D

Ignore me. Didn't see the fuel distribution unlock.

Thanks! I don't know about wheels yet, but I'm currently working on docking and a way to attach ships together. I look forward to releasing that.
The game crash after open it, this is what the log say:
Patterns.Interface.Model.PatternSave2D
GenerateQuadTemplate
Could you send me the full log at curious.owl.games@gmail.com please? I'd also like to know your PC specs if you don't mind sharing.
I think it would be cool if there were mining laser upgrades that gave more resources.
Thank you for the suggestion!
